Fall Glass Block

I don't know why the fall is so busy, but, I was crazy last year too.  However, I just loved the the way my fall glass block trued out.

Target was my favorite fall source this year.  I bought three different shapes and colors.

I got my cute little sunflower ribbon at the Dollar Tree and made a bow.

I had a cluster of tiny pumpkins in a box that held decorations and a lone leaf.

It was so pretty when lit.

Shine on - he he.

Thanksgiving around The Messy Roost

Here are a few pictures of Thanksgiving around the Messy Roost.

I just love sunflowers...

Target had so many fun things in the $2.50 spot ; )

I adore scarecrows and have a little collection growing.

I never noticed that my candle stick leans -- ha ha

I love to decorate with candles.  The little silver tray was my mom's or my grandma's.

I hope you all had a heartfelt Thanksgiving.

Halloween Glass Block

Happy Saturday everyone.  I hope you all are having a great weekend.   Now, you didn't think we going to make it through Halloween without my glass block did you?  I originally wanted to do something different, but, I have already spent my Halloween budget.  You know that I am the repurpose queen, so, I just reused the white balls from my summer block.

I think it is creepy cute.

I

Remember this cutie?  It was really hard to take this down.  I am so in love with Burlap and White.

I had a bag of creepy spiders (I got them on clearance last year).

I emptied half the balls out and filled it with the spiders.

I still need to work on getting the spiders out towards the glass.  It was actually a little more difficult and time consuming than I planned.

Lets shed a little light on it - hee hee.

I looks really cool at night.

Have a creepy crawly day ; )

Candy Corn Wreath

Who doesn't love Candy Corn?  I was eating a lot few last night and thought they would look cute on a wreath.

I love small wreaths like the ones below:

Coffee Filter Wreath

Paper Rose Wreath (I love this one)

I started with a small round green foam form from the dollar store and wrapped it with black duck tape.

Then, I glued on the candy corns like so.

Round and round I go.

I re-painted my board black and hooked the wreath on with more hot glue.

They make cute table top decorations.

I wanted one for my door, but, I only had small forms.  One was too small, and two just didn't look good.

I think three is just right.  What do you think?

Have a sweet week.
