Glass Block for Easter

I still have my St. Patty's Day decorations up, but, I have spring fever and want to decorate for Easter.  I really enjoyed my glass block for Valentines Day and wanted to re purpose it for Easter too.

I got my supplies together.

I think I used four bags of jelly beans for the large glass block.  I did get my jelly beans last year.  I know that sounds weird, but, I always want to fill a vase or big jar with them and I hate spending money.  Especially if I am not going to eat them.  So, I got them last year after Easter for a ridicules price like .25 cents (no more than .50).  I got my conversation hearts after Valentines Day this year to use next year.  To be honest, that is the only reason I used the plastic shreds (I had the red left over from Christmas).

I got my stickers from Hobby Lobby.  All spring and Easter items are 40% off right now.

I got my pretty ribbon at the Dollar Store.  They have such pretty ribbon for $1.00.  I got additional ribbon for my next craft.  I can hardly wait to show you.

I love these sticky things.  I got them at the Dollar Store and use them all the time.  They are great for about anything.

This is how I stick my bows on.

I like how the stickers come on clear plastic.  I cut them apart so I can arrange them before sticking them in place.

That is all.  I love these blocks because they are so cute and add a pop of color and light to any spot in your house, and, they are easy peasy.........

If you don't have a glass block, go and get one.  You can always use your 40% off coupon and have fun with it.  Let me know what you do to yours.

Happy Crafting.
Rhonda
