As always, I start with mini Christmas lights in my block.
These are so cool. I bought some red ones at Christmas and was so excited to see these on clearance. Just $1.99. I bought three bags to fill a large glass block.
Aren't they pretty? I then wrapped the block with jute/twine and added a strip of burlap for texture. I made a large burlap flower, added white flowers I got at Target, and a beaded hat pin.
I really like the way it turned out. It looks a little summery.
That is my favorite burlap flower right now. They have so many tutorials on burlap flowers, I won't go into details.
I love these candlesticks. I got them at Savers for such a small amount. I can hardly wait to use them for Christmas.
More burlap flowers, rosettes this time.
These are some candles wrapped in jute with the same white flower I used on my block, it really sets off the white candle.
I have a couple more things with burlap before I am done, so, please come back and see.
Rhonda
