Valentine Entryway Shelf

I really enjoy my little shelf in my entryway.  I am working on the opposite wall now, to make it more inviting and functional.  I hope it turns out.  I should be able to do a reveal in the next week or so.

I don't have a fireplace mantle, so, this has to do.  I have so much fun decorating it for all the holidays.  I do like to re-purpose my decorations and reuse them.

Remember these?  These were my summer topiaries.  I actually had some in the works for Thanksgiving, then, my father-in-law got sick and my doggy too.  They were really cute, but, you will have to wait for next fall - ha ha.

For Valentines, I used crept paper flowers (go here) on Styrofoam balls and a cone (all from the dollar store).  I like the two different size balls on a skewer.  Should I paint the skewer??

Remember my Snowflake tree?

It came back as my Love Tree.

I totally love the candy cane garland.

This was my scary Halloween lantern?

I had two of them, so, I did one in red.  I didn't use it for Christmas, so I will for Valentines Day.

I kept the white snowball ornaments in it and added some hearts (gotta love the dollar store).

That's it, I hope you enjoyed my little entryway shelf.

  13. I've been sitting here trying to figure out the best way to "Pin" this. First, I adore your garland. All the embellishments you added really make it special. (And yes, I would paint the topiary stick) But I also like how your elements work together as a whole. I'm just starting to decorate my mantel, so it's so helpful that you show tying different items in through the seasons. So, you see my dilemma?
